Oldest operating jazz club...

Situated in a historic 1831 building in the heart of the French Quarter. Since its founding in 1969, it has become a mecca for jazz lovers and musicians alike. Home of traditional New Orleans jazz.

One of my favorite things about being a freelance travel photographer is the element of surprise. Unplanned moments, often caused by logistical hiccups, can lead to the best photo opportunities.

On my last trip, a delay left me stranded in my favorite city, New Orleans. I seized the chance to hop on a trolley to the French Quarter. The late afternoon light was ideal for street photography, and as the sun went down, the city came to life. I spent the evening adding new images to my "bourbon nightcap" series.

My travel kit was simple: a first-generation Nikon Z6 and my Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens.
